i had a crp blood test in april it came out at 24 normal being 1-3
they did repeat it dropped to 12 still high but lower

yesterday i had it done again was 23
iv begged my gp to look into it and he refuses! even though it so high
im so worried i have sle or lupus but he just wont run the test
im also showing signs of abnormal clotting and hospital reffered me to heamatoligist appointment in novemeber
but that again can be a sign of sle/ lupus
i get joint pain too
nobody not even my family ever look past my anxiety and it scares me :(

There must be a reason your GP is no running the test, have you asked him why?

Honey to be fair you were posting earlier about being terrified about your ecg results, and if you go through your posts you have been convinced that something awful was up with every test that has been performed.

This isnt a reason to dismiss what you are feeling straight off as anxiety but it can cloud people's perceptions.

Are you getting help with your HA, have you looked at on line resources which can help you deal with these fears and think more logically?

How do you know these are symptomatic of lupus, unless you've Googled it? Yes, a raised result can be associated with autoimmune disease BUT there are many other reasons for a raised result, sometimes if you are overweight, or having hormone treatment, just to name two. Rather than asking here, you really need to ask your GP why you have a raised CRP. You've been into hospital I believe, and have had quite a few blood tests which has resulted in a Haematology appt - if they thought there was something seriously wrong they would see you before that.

Make an appt with your GP, or another one if you prefer, and ask them why it would be raised in your case. Ask them to explain it carefully as you are scared, and you need to understand. Concentrate on getting the explanation rather than begging for more tests, and put Lupus out of your mind for now x

Hi,

So I have high ANA...and various autoimmune issues. I'm considered borderline lupus/watch this space. My CRP has only ever been raised once and that was when I was in hospital ill with something else...unrelated to autoimmune stuff. You seem to be unreasonably fixated on lupus... I would def seek cbt support for yourself from your gp.
