I had to get a new phone tonight, and the girl who was helping me at the AT&T store was using one of those remote scanner things like they have at the Apple Store to ring up the phone, swipe my credit card, etc. At one point, it sort of popped open. She put back into place what I believe was the battery, and then it took her several tries to get the whole thing to stay together. What is really worrying me right now is that perhaps the battery had gone bad, and was swollen, and therefore leaking fluid and/or dangerous to touch. So if she touched it and then touched my new phone, credit card, etc., and then I touched those things, it feels like now my hand is contaminated. And then I've touched my jeans, my keys, and a bunch of other things, so the contamination keeps spreading. Any thoughts on this worry?
