Internal Itching stomach/sternum

Hope you are all well and enjoying bank holiday??

Well ive got a internal itching right by breastbone in middle

Its really annoying and adds to my anxiety

Any ideas what it could be??

I still think i have a hiatus hernia but my wife and doc seems to think its anxiety
