Hi guys. I've got some kind of lurgy picked up from my son. Sore throat, aching all over, feeling shivery, headache etc etc. Is it ok to take something like Lemsip because I believe there are certain OTC meds you shouldn't take with Citalopram? Thanks x

Give the docs or chemist a ring?

Paracetamol is no problem but aspirin and Ibuprofen you can't take with ad's.
Why don't you make a hot lemon and honey drink and take paracetamol, just as good and cheaper.
Not a good idea to use a nasal spray but I always do, without any problems.
There is a saying..."treat a cold and it will be better in two weeks, don't medicate and it will take a fortnight".
You can only make it more bearable,
hope you feel better soon,
take care

Good advice from sidiam. I remember a doctor telling me the very same thing years ago. Hope you feel better soon Mojo.

Thanks guys. I've been taking paracetamol with hot lemon and honey. My voice has completely gone though, all that comes out is a squeak lol.

Plenty of vitamin C. :)

Kiwi fruit contain high levels of vitamin C.
And what about making a nice chicken, onion and carrot casserole, works for me. x
