Hi all
Just something I wished to advise you all from my recent experience with a home FBC test.
Be very skeptical with the results, I had a FBC done through the post a few months ago which showed elevated MCV levels providing that the test was in post box all weekend, it was warm and they only tested it three days later.
I would put a warning out there that if you want a full panel of bloods its best to do it at your GP surgery where it is kept at the correct temp and tested promptly in a lab.
I have just had a full panel of bloods done again and the MCV was normal including all other results.
So please be wary & to not cause any further stress especially if you suffer from severe HA like myself.
