I wish I was brave enough for endoscopy...

It might have revealed any potential cause of my retching 2011 - present day. Nasal endoscopy is a lot less invasive and doesn't trigger the gag reflex, maybe I will try that one day? I asked for capsule endoscopy but it is of no use apparently??? I thought it would be as it goes from beginning to end of digestive tract which conventional endoscopy cannot do!!! :wacko:

You can be given sedation if you wish for an endoscopy. But you will have to stay in a few hours longer. Ask the doctor/consultant. I had it with just the throat spray but if I were to have it again, I would probably go the sedation route.
