Skin cancer worries

I'm 16. I'm convinced that I will get skin cancer. I check my moles so often and can be having a perfectly good day, then catch a glimpse of one and start googling symptoms etc and end up feeling so worried and down. I sunbathe on holiday but use suncream and don't think I've ever been seriously burnt. I'm sure most other people my age don't think about these things and I just can't get it out of my head :(

16 is a really difficult age, what with pressures of school, peer pressure and a dose of hormones rushing around! I really do feel for you, have a chat with your GP about your anxiety, there is loads of help out there for young adults, you really don't have skin cancer, just high anxiety due to outside pressures. X
