Started celexa 6 days ago

I've just started celexa 6 days ago. I was on it before for 5 yrs and it worked well. I'm 8 months off tapered like I was supposed to. Now 6 days in I feel like dog poo didnt feel like this the first time I think because I was already so wacked out with anxiety I probably never noticed. Just wondering if anyone ever got sick feeling super drained and flu like for while when starting ADs :scared15:

Yes! They can make you feel quite ill. I've been on citalopram and escitalopram in the past and don't remember any particular bad effects but when I started sertraline in December I was incredibly ill and only lasted a week then took citalopram (celexa) for three weeks until I couldn't handle it any more.

On venlafaxine now and didn't have nearly as many side effects. Strange how these things change!
