Antihistamine question

Started taking it 6 days ago...itching is much reduced but didn't happen until 4 days in. Do antihistamines have a kicking in period? Just trying to work out potential allergies to avoid in future!!

Yes. Both my wife and I take it daily and it's helped tremendously.

Positive thoughts

They can have a kicking in period, I have anaphylaxis, and although they reduce the allergen as soon as digested (half hour ish) I need to stay on them a good week or so, so that my body doesn't go back into shock after an initial use of my epipen.
