flu for 5 days

Hey. I have had a flu for 5 days that doesnt seem to be getting any better and my lymph nodes are swolen and back hurts. Should i see a gp. Im really scared. Do flues stay this long.

Yep,it can hang around for awhile mine did.

I just felt tired buk,i also drank sustagen as I had lost my appetite,drink plenty of water buk and eat some tucker.

Hi Bukendaa,

There are different strains of flu, and the virus is always mutating. Some are mild and just like a cold, and some will put you in bed hacking away for 3-5 days, plus up to two weeks till you recover. In the latter case, you should see a doctor if it seems bad after a few days, in case there are complications.

Vaccinations aren't perfect, but I always get a flu shot every year now after being laid out a couple of years back.

Yeah i read all the propaganda about how flu shots cause autism in you're children and all this other rubbish so i opted out. Never had a flu last this long. Nasty bloody strain. Never agian. Flu shot here i come. Thanks han
