So, I thought I had curbed this. But maybe it was masked by the very real hair loss problem I have, which can't be cured and I've spent months crying over that.
But the blindness fear is back in full force. My vision terrifies me, it's almost like I can't focus, I have so many floaters and I think I'm developing visual snow. I had my annual eye check yesterday, dilated eye exam and visual field test. I was horrified to find out that the flashes in the visual field were harder to detect in my good eye!!!!!!!!!!! I got through it, but there was a difference. The optometrist said there was nothing wrong, but I'm like what if something new has developed since I last saw the eye doc which was around four months ago. I see a regular ophthalmologist and a corneal specialist (because of the ghosting) which hasn't resolved, he thinks it's due to an unstable tear film. I'm worried about my retinas and optic nerve.
My optometrist sent a letter to my eye doc requesting a CT scan, I do have strabismus which seems to have gotten worse. That's such a confidence killer, but I can cope with a wob eye over vision loss. Aaaggghhh help!
