Hi,

This is a new thing for me...when I go to bed I lay down and within minutes my mind starts spinning, hundreds of thoughts bouncing around and it gets faster and faster. And then it feels like I'm stuck between sleep and being awake.

Sorry to blab on but just want to find out what to do.

It sounds like your anxiety or stress is preventing you from falling asleep. The real way to solve this is try your best to unwind before bed, and also switch off anything electronic an hour before you go to sleep. For a short term solution, sleeping tablets are an option to get you back into a sleep routine if you're finding thay your sleeping pattern is falling asleep very late and thus waking up very late.
