Water retention in legs

I'm 23 and when I sit down at work all day I come back with water retention in my calls. Today after work, my right calf is 35cm and my right is 33cm. Is this likely from sitting down? I do get up but it doesn't seem to help. Does anyone else get this?

Get up and walk about regularly. Go for a walk in your lunch break too. It's been very hot which can cause legs to swell
