Hey,

So yeah over one thing but here we go although I've had this for quite some time I've posted it before but it still bothers me It's been there or so i first felt it in May if i remember correctly it felt like small bit back then. It's grown slightly but not for months, it's about the size of a bb maybe even smaller but i think it may go up and down sometimes.

I don't know whether it is on the epididymis it self or just below it I can't pinpoint it exactly but it still worries me I don't know what it means by move able bump or something. Basically i don't if this means movable when i rub my fingers over it moves like left and right under my fingers but i can't separate it from the testicle or what ever.

it's weird though as it feels like it has no height like i can squeeze it down by pushing and it feels really flat sort of thing. IDK anymore I'm just tired so this post is a bit of a mess. When i've had a shower it seems to be harder to feel or find but it's still the same size just feels less.

which is weird and not as prominent. also when i hold the epididymis the bump seems to be separated from the testicle it self or it looks that way.

Should i go and get it checked out :(

Cheers, Jack

Hi Jack,

My partner had a lump it was round and moveable up near the top. It could be a cyst and this is likely.. Personally I would have it checked to be on the safe side. They will just ultrasound it to be sure x

I had the same problem a couple months ago. Except it was a lump nearly the size of the testicle itself. From what you're describing its exactly what I had which I went to the doctor for. The fact you could squeeze it down flatly almost guarantees that it was a cyst. Tumors tend to be very hard and you would know it.

Besides.. even if it was something to worry about its just a testicle tumor which is one of the best kinds of tumors you can get given how easy it is to remove but that doesn't matter as I'm almost positive what you have is just a cyst.

You're fine 8)

Please get it checked out, the GP I saw in May thought he felt a lump round my testicle so he referred me to see specialist had the scan, all what it turned out was some cysts round the epdidymis (sp)

I have one in the same spot, on the epidimydis (spelling) and the doc didn't even do more than give it a quick squeeze, said it was a cyst, it was very common and no worry. My visit with him was literally almost that long.

That was 18 years ago, and still kicking, so while I would get it checked out, it doesn't sound too worrisome to me.

It will put your mind at ease of you go and then you can get on with your life. Cysts tend to form up by the epidermal part. Let us know how you get on.

I am in the medical field and will ditto what everyone else is saying. Cysts often form near the epididymis, which, as others have said, is at the top of the testicle (short edge). Tumors can often be hard to detect with testicular exam, but they often would not be compressible; again this sounds more like a cyst. To clarify, epididymal cysts are benign. However, this is something that can be very easily diagnosed with a testicular exam and possible ultrasound (if the MD deems it to be necessary), so I would suggest just making an appointment and seeing your MD. Best of luck and good health!

So they can form near the epididymis so you don't think IT sounds like it's on the testicle it self also what does a tumor lump feel like and how quick do they grow are they Rock hard like a rock?

And Im guessing it wouldn't move ?

Yes they can form near the epididymus as I googled it when my partner had a cyst. Please go and put your mind at rest and have it checked out.

Anybody?

It's Lockey's thread and in both cases, no one here can diagnose.

My ex-husband found a lump in his testicle when he was in his mid-20s. We were very scared, but he went to the doctor and it turned out to be something called a varicocele... some sort of varicose vein that men get in their testicles. he rode his bike a lot, and the doctor felt this could have caused it. It never did go away, and later he developed a couple more lumps... but the doctor again diagnosed them as varicoceles.
He had them for 20 years, and they never caused him any harm... he no doubt still has them today, although I wouldn't know because we've divorced.

So that's all I know about that; go get it checked out for your peace of mind, but there are many sorts of cysts and other benign problems that can cause lumps in testicles, so i wouldn't jump to the conclusion that it's cancer, because it's probably something far less serious.

best wishes.
