Recurring infection

I had a toe infection about a month ago which took two lots of different antibiotics to get rid of. It got better but the toe still remained a little red. Now about 3 weeks on, the toe is starting to get infected again. I'm really worried because it appears my body can't fight this off which automatically makes me think I have cancer. Has anyone else had any recurring infections like this?

Just to note, it is not a fungal infection it is a deep tissue infection.

I had a deep tissue infection in my leg in December. It took about 2 months and about six lots of antibiotics to show signs of getting better. Try not to worry my skin is still a little red now 9 months on.
