IBS and acid reflux at the same time - common?

I was diagnosed with acid reflux 10 years ago but for the last three months I have had discomfort in stomach which hopefully is just IBS. But anyone here knows if it is common to have both acid reflux and IBS at the same time?

It's extremely common to suffer from both at the same time. They can be caused by many things, but they both feature high on the list of anxiety symptoms.

I have them both. I take medication that is helpful in easing how it feels, and I'm in the process of making lifestyle changes that will hopefully keep them at bay.

It's nothing to fear. They can be managed and treated.

Very common, i have them both, reflux for years and IBS for the past 5 years. Neither are pleasant conditions, but both can be treated .
