I woke up with an achy sensation that seems to pulsate every 10 seconds or so in the front of my leg about 4 inches below my knee. I am six days postpartum so naturally am terrified this is a blood clot. Is it possible for blood clots to form in the front of the leg? There is no redness or swelling but I'm still really worried.
What tests can they do for a blood clot? Is it possible to have bloodwork done to check?
