Iv been swimming for the first time in ages today an I feel a lot worse I'm trying to get myself healthy an lose a bit of weight, is it normal with anxiety to feel worse after exercise!
It's putting me off doing it anymore!

If you haven't been swimming for a long time you need to start off really slowly.

What exactly did you do?

I did 30 lengths an when I came out I was shaking an felt every pain in my body had no energy I feel awful.

That is way too much when you are not used it as you don't realise that you are in water so muscles are working even though they don't feel like it.

You just did too much in one go and need to start of really slowly.

OK thankyou I was starting to think it was the anxiety coming back full force started to get worried.

Next time just do a few lengths in between resting and you will soon get fitter.
