Can't sleep because fear of heart attack?

I'm terrified to go to sleep because it feels like if I do, one of my veins will get clogged and I'll have a heart attack. I finally got to relax a little, and then I felt my heart contract as well as feeling coldness all over my body. I'm experiencing pains in my chest and they terrify me. It's 4 am and I haven't slept..

I feel like this a lot, I get sharp pains on my left side and quite often get missed beats. I was all checked out 4 years ago but I still panic if I get the slightest twinge. My mind goes into overdrive. I suspect the coldness you feel is a symptom of full blown panic attack. I get all tingly and get a weird sensation when I have one. Try to rest and then maybe check with your doctor tomorrow.
