Good evening all,

In the introduce myself post I mentioned that I was going for a battery of tests yesterday with the cardiologist. My ECG was good, my stress test was great, my ultrasound on the other hand came back with a valve prolapse. When they told me I didn't think much about it as I've known about my heart murmur for ages. They immediately booked me into see a specialist in two weeks time.

I came home feeling pretty good not really knowing much about MVP. And again using google was probably not my best decision (... but sometimes it helps soo much).

I understand that this is very common but my complete anxiety now is coming from why they want me to see a specialist. As I didnt know much about it I didnt care to ask about the prolapse or the regurgitation. So I am clueless to the level of severity or even if it is severe.

There are a number of posts about MVP here which is great to read. I kinda wish I could see the specialist tomorrow rather than in two weeks time.

Anxiety level : definitely not low :scared15:

More a post to share.
