Sore patch on scalp on top of head

I've had a sore patch on the top of my head for nearly 2 weeks now. I really notice it if I touch it. Has anyone any ideas what this might be??
I'm REFUSING to google it but it's starting to freak me out now :weep:

Due to your Anxiety have you developed any nervous habits? Like biting gums and lips?

I haven't developed any habits like that, not that I'm aware of anyway!!!
But how could something like that make my scalp sore?

It's probably something you're using on your head irritating it. Have you tried changing your shampoo/ conditioner? Or not using any other usual products to see if it makes a difference?

It really isn't anything serious at all, you know. Maybe a bit of a dandruffy-type area that's being further irritated by something. Have you tried a medicated shampoo to see if that helps?
