Hello,

Just thought i better introduce myself. Im a 33 yr old chap from the north. I finally had to admit to having a problem rather than trying to be all macho. I usually have attacks late at night when no one is around so it has been easy to disguise. But recently they have begun getting worse and more frequent. I visited the doctors and he told me I was having panic attacks and prescribed prozac. Ive been taking it for 2 weeks now but it has not 'kicked in' yet. Anyhow, hello everyone, this seems like a friendly place!

hey man, good to have you here :)

this place has really helped me so far so i hope it helps you too! i think it's good that you acknowledged and saw the problem too... lots of people have these things and it's good to think about ways to address it before it gets too much worse :)

see you round! :byebye:

Hi spoon
Welcome to the forum-admitting you have panics doesn't make you anyless macho as it takes a big man to admit to having problems.
