View Full Version : Irrational thinking brings on anxiety symptoms. Any free CBT handbooks available?

Anyone else realize this?

I could be having a great time but then all of the sudden I'll feel something in my body that's unusual and I begin to think of the absolute worst. I then start to have the anxiety symptoms such as dizziness especially and just he feeling of dying and that something is terribly wrong with me health wise and I can't stop thinking about it. It's like I can't help myself.

I've been having this blood sugar anxiety and as soon as I realize I haven't eaten in 3-4 hours I start to worry and as soon as that happens the anxiety symptoms pop up and it feels like nothing can make my thoughts stop. I don't know what to do anymore.

That is a really good website for therapy tools. There are workbooks on there too, including for HA which is I think takes you to the CCI website that others on here have used. I'll post you the tools page because there are useful resources on it but if you scroll towards the bottom you find indexes for disorders and those are the sections in the workbooks:

Thank you Terry!! I'm going to spend some time going through it tonight. I'm really trying to find things to do to help me cope with these symptoms. They make me feel absolutely terrible
