Flickering eyeball

4 weeks ago my actual eyeball started flickering. Not the eyelid like you sometimes get, it's the actual lower part of eyeball, just under the pupil on the white of my eye. It flickers on and off all day. Like a nerve flickering. I saw my GP 4 weeks ago and told him, he checked the eye and said it looked normal. I forgot about it but 4 weeks on I realised I am still having it. It's set me worrying a little the last few days realising how frequent it is.

The actual eye doesn't move, it's not visible to anyone else it's flickering.

Has anyone else had this?
