Gas after eating

Hi i have been having gas around my chest area after eating for a long time, sometimes after eating i feel like burping but the issue is that i hardly burp it feels a little uncomfortable but i can release the gas which i feel around my gullet by coughing which i will burp at the same time as if im releasing gas by coughing i am wondering if its normal?

Also i was wondering if a reason is because of eating too fast as sometimes i eat too fast and gulp down drinks

It works for food but sometimes after drinking drinks i still get some gas and i got trouble burping i dont tend to

And should i try to contain the gas as i think if i dont it will become a habit and if i tried to contain i will get used to it
