Hi

My dizziness when leaving the house is back.

Even when I have someone with me, it is there.

Does anyone know if there is any medication that will help?

well im starting lyrica/pregablin which is meant to reduce anxiety levels enough so you can get over agoraphobia more easily.

lots of reviews on drugs.com say how great it is too so im hopeful.

obviously diazepam or other benzos will allow you to do anything but thats not a solution since you cant take them everytime you go out (dependence/addiction).

i dont know about any other drugs but im sure someone else on here will

Hello

Thank you for replying so quickly.

Did your GP recommend these?

Mine just doesnt seem to understand about how it is impacting my life and my family's.

Im seeing him on Thursday.

actually my gp didnt recommend anything (apart from antidepressants which i cant tolerate). i got so sick of agoraphobia and panic that i went to see a private psychiatrist and psychologist.

Hello

Did it cost a lot?

Im thinking of seeing someone private too as I cannot go on like this.
