Clothes shopping

I won't wear second hand clothing. I just don't feel comfortable in it. But I'd like to know, does anyone have a problem buying new clothes that they know have been tried on - like when the zip is down on a pair of jeans. Or if an item has been brought back with a fault and is then reduced in price. Or if a jumper smells strongly of perfume for instance. Just curious.

Hi Elle,

I know exactly what you mean. I hate shopping for clothes so get most things from catalogues where I can try them on in peace at home. Once I found sand in the pockets of a pair of jeans so someone had obviously been on holiday in them then sent them back. Another time there was a shopping list in the pocket, and yet another time the item smelt of washing powder so someone had worn it then washed it before sending it back. Really puts me off! When I go clothes shopping, I'd always buy items that can be washed and always wash them before I wear them.
