Sorry for the bad English..

I have a lot of different kinds and sizes moles,
especially on the back.
Every year dermatologist will examine them and all has been ok.
A week ago I began to think about melanoma( my mam had it about 8 year ago) and now the fear is really bad.
Especially concerned about two halo nevus on my back:ohmy:

I thought that they are normal but then I read that in my age its not normal?!

Anyone have them? Or different kind moles which are benign?

I feel that my life is out and i have not eaten or slept for several days:weep:

I went to a dermatologist this week, and he could not find melanoma. However, two week later I go again to another doctor

Dermatologists are specialists in that area, if you saw one and they said no melanoma then you're clear! They know their stuff and another doctor will just tell you the same. Believe your dermatologist!

Just keep reminding yourself of what they said.

And I'm guessing the second doctor told you exactly the same thing as the first one?

What possible reason do you have to doubt your doctors? Dermatologists spend years of their lives studying and practicing their profession and they will have seen hundreds of cases of skin cancer during that time. They will know exactly what to look out for when something is wrong. If your dermatologist could find no signs of melanoma, then you can pretty safely conclude that you don't have melanoma.

Thanks!

This week dermatologist was new to me.
He looked moles and said it could take three different moles out because my mum had melanoma and i have many moles. But also said he didnt see anything bad, just because my mom. This scared!

Before that, I visited two other dermatologists many years and they never said anything like that:huh:
From my brother has been removed more then 5 moles and all normal.

Now this halomole concern me..I read that sometimes it can be a sign of melanoma somewhere in the body :(
My halo moles are in the back area which is a little burned down in the summer. I hope that they triggered by sunburn.
