Food stuck in throat

I have had this for a while but never thought much about it till i went on google now.im.worrued about cancer

I have gerd and take meds for it but everytime i eat something it always feels stuck on right hand side

Anyone else had this ?

I have the same and I have gerd. I also have mucous at the back of the throat and a feeling there's something there etc. I drink water when it happens. I also do the exercises by the ********** for stretching the neck muscles - was suggested by someone on the forum and that helps.

Something interesting though, I went to the GP about the length of time food took to go down my gullet and after a test it transpired that it was nothing to worry about, but that it was taking a long time to reach the stomach! So not all in the mind.
