Biopsy today

Having a biopsy of thyroid today- can't sleep can't eat. Radiologist thought he saw something on scan so that's why doing biopsy. So many things going through my mind it's taking over 24/7. I actually cannot cope. Had scan 8 months ago and doc saw nodules but nothing to write home about so left them and do follow up scan. Had follow up scan last week and different radiologist concerned. And basically said it wasn't good. He obviously didn't know about my health anxiety. Biopsy being done this afternoon. Feel ill that it's spread everywhere

i know you're offline now so tell us how it went when you get back, and try not to worry too much, if it was something very serious they would of done something instantly, try not to worry until you get your results, i always believe in expecting the best :hugs:

He was going to do biopsy last week but I couldn't stay and freaked out :( feel sick

I really hope it all goes well for you this afternoon. Nothing drastic will have changed in 8 months so don't think the worst, although I know I would be just the same. Take some valerian drops if you can to calm you down. Let us know how it goes.
