Who all here gets urge to pee a lot and peeing every couple hours it seems? I had urinalysis a little over month ago and she said it was fine. I don't have to pee any through out the night or while sleeping. Is this all in my head or what. It's annoying.

Thanks fisherman. I'm trying to stay positive. Sad part is I didn't start noticing I needed to pee often till after I had urinalysis and started worrying about protein in my urine.

HAHA! this is true! It is normal to pee every couple hours, I pee all the time because I drink a lot. But the symptom of anxiety I was referring to was frequent urination (very frequent!)

Peeing probably created a lot of my early anxiety.

I distinctly remember going to a party and drinking as much Pepsi as I could.

And then people laughing because I had to piss every 5 minutes.

----

I also pissed myself down the local shop when I was 4-5 which was embarassing....

Pissing often is just a slightly over sensitive bladder. Nothing to worry about.

Same here nzxt27. I had a urinalysis that came back clear as well. It started for me a few months ago and now it doesn't help that my anxiety and stress are up and I am obsessesed with it lol. And weird how the urge to pee can come at almost perfect intervals lol.

Yeah mine went away for most part so I'm Assuming it was all in my mind. Me worried and thinking about it was causing me to have to go every hour or two.

Hey I'm getting this too right now. I don't know what came first my anxiety or this symptom. I too am obsessing about it but I have noticed that if I'm relaxed or otherwise engaged in something that has my full attention then I don't notice it. That yells anxiety to me. Unfortunately I do get it at night as I worry I won't sleep and the anxiety around it is giving me shocking insomnia. I had this about 5 years ago as well and I remember once I got the anxiety under control then I started noticing the symptoms less and less. So hopefully I can do the same this time.

It's common for me too, particularly when I had my worrying spells about diabetes, but most people pee quite a lot during the day, up to 10 or so times. The most I've done is 6 in one night, but I drink tea which is a diuretic. as is most stuff with caffeine and as said earlier, anxiety causes frequent urination as well, which is kind of a vicious cycle when you're worried about.

I think you're good.
