Omg, I'm actually at the airport waiting to board my flight to Lanzarote! We are sitting in the business class lounge taking advantage of the complimentary food and drink (soft drinks for me) Never thought I'd get here but I have!

It's beautiful out here, I wish I could show you all some photos. Gloriously blue skies, warm but not baking hot and cools down nicely for sleeping at night. So relaxing and everyone is so friendly.im sitting here on my veranda looking out over the whitewashed houses and azure blue sea. It truly is paradise.

Thanks guys. Still having a wonderful time 5 days in. Slept until 8.30am for the first time in almost a year, it was heavenly! We had to swap planes coming here because the first one was leaking hydraulic fluid. Normally I would have freaked out at that but I was fine. It's so beautiful here, I wish you could all see it xxx

So, doesn't that show that you really can do more than you realised? Sometimes it takes leaving that anxiety rut of routine and doing something brand new to give you some confidence back. At the moment you must be feeling empowered!

It certainly does Terry! The people here just seem to have a completely different outlook on life, and I don't just mean the holiday makers either. The Spanish live each day as it comes and I've noticed nobody is glued to their mobile phones or living their lives through social media either. It is like being on a different planet!
