Day 15 20mg Citalopram

Hello All,

I am on day 15 with citalopram. I started with 10 mg and then upped to 20 in about a week. I am still experiencing a lot of side affects. Total loss of appetite, no energy, weakness in arms and hands. In addition to that I feel the need to shake my legs all the time and this is particularly bad when I wake up. Has anyone else experienced that ?

Hi! I'm on week 5 and I've experienced all the side effects you just mentioned. I find the weak legs and arms to be the most annoying. Do you get a bit of a tremor too?

Hello Joe,

I have experienced that sometimes. You have mentioned that you have been on Citalopram for 5 weeks. Do you see any improvements ? My anxiety is really bad early on during the day but it seems to calm down as the day progresses.
I have had a few good late evenings but overall this has been a real struggle.
