Lump on belly? HELP.

Now I use the term "Lump" loosely...

About two inches to the right of my belly button there is a slight swelling. I can only feel it when I press down pretty hard. My partner, Mum and Dad have all said it feels fine but to me, I feel a lump.

You can not see it or feel it unless you put some good pressure on it. Does this sound like cancer?

It feels more like a raised part more than a lump, but there is a small lump there, a little bigger than a pea.

Well, everyone knows that a worrying sign is something one should see the doctor about but I guess that what the OP was looking for was some reasurrance. I feel the same but not sure what to make of it. I think you should try asking the question in the IBS forum to see if you can get some better answer there. Good luck!
