But I am. Slightly.

I have one blood shot eye, I noticed it last night. I'm not going to let it worry me too much as 2016 has been my best year yet HA-wise, but I'm just curious as to why it's only one eye. If it was both I'd assume it was just one of those things, but as it's only one I wonder why. I haven't strained my eye or anything and it doesn't look infected either.

Any ideas what it could be? Should I just try to completely forgot about it?

I think it's okay to forget about, i get one bloodshot eye all the time so does my students! it's weird but it usually clears up, it could be many reasons why but they're all generally safe, just keep an eye on it but i see anything concerning to worry about :)

Thank you I think I'll try to forget about it. I have had a few very early mornings this week and wonder if it could be that.

Hahaha, thanks again

I'm sure it'll be gone in the morning and I'll feel embarrassed that I posted this.

I had this about six months ago. I got a fright when I looked in the mirror as it looked like my eye was bleeding. Somebody on this forum answered my post and said it's much like a bruise so don't worry about it, it'll go in a few days. My husband also told me that each time he played rugby one or both his eyes looked like this. It cleared after three days.

Thank you for replying to me.

I knew I'd feel like a fool for posting! Today my eye is a little bit better and I'm sure tomorrow it'll be either completely better or pretty much. Thanks again for the advice.

Had another early morning today, my other half has started working early mornings and it's as though my body thinks it's me and I wake up when he should be waking up!
