So I've been suffering from this brain tumor fear for the last year and a half on and off. This entire month I've had this constant headache in the back of my head thay won't go away no matter what I take. I had an mri and a cat scan may of 2015. Over the last week I have become nauseous and I just feel weak. The chances of a brain tumor growing since may of 2015 are probably slim to none but I can't think rationally for some reason.

Hi Jesse,

Fear of a brain tumour is a common fear. I've had it too.

Headaches are also common. :D

When you become highly stressed and anxious, it will make you nauseous and weak.

Focus on giving your brain a rest. Get lots of rest, eat and drink well, and your anxiety will subside.

You know you would think by now I would be able to rationally tell myself that it isn't brain tumor.

My son's girlfriend's mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor in March of this year. They buried her October 20th.

You are being rediculious.

Maybe ask your doc about some complimentary treatment for your headache. It could very well stem from the muscle tension that comes with anxiety. Massage or physiotherapy may help. Or at least take your mind off it!

You had some scans on your brain in 2015.

Have you had an eye exam recently, what is your diet like, do you drink enough water.

See your GP who will do a few tests to help ease your worries
