Hi all,

I was just wondering has anyone experienced low blood pressure around ovulation and before their period? For the last few months I have had a few days when I have felt woozy around both of these times. I took my blood pressure when i felt like this and it is always around 100/70, sometimes slightly lower. Today I was actually at the doctors with my son and I felt very lightheaded, the GP took my BP and said it was a little low (100/65) but didn't seem too concerned and just said take it easy. Is there anything else I can do to feel better when this happens? I am finding it annoying and staring to dread that time of the month...

Thanks for reading

I am now postmenopausal but for many many years when I was younger up to about my mid 30's the first two days of my period I would be very light headed and often went faint. this was due to low blood pressure and the gyny I mentioned it too said this was hormonal and quite common.
