Irrational fear of parasites

Hey all,

So I'm not sure what I'm hoping to get out of posting this, but maybe someone can convince me that this is all irrational, because I'm having a hard time convincing myself.

To cut a long story short, today I ended up getting dried animal feces rubbed into the back seat of my car. It was on something that I bought, and I didn't realize it was dirty until I got home.

Anyways, I have no way of knowing what type of animal this is from, but I'm very scared that it is from a raccoon, as I've read that they have brain eating parasites in their feces!

You say yourself that your fear is "irrational" and I agree, it is. I think you've therefore answered your own query, parasites from a raccoon are not going to eat your brain.

Put it this way: if parasites from raccoon faeces end up eating your brain, I will crack my own skull open and consume my own brain. It's quite small so it won't take long.
