I had a brain mri with contrast just over 3 weeks ago for visual disturbances which have been getting progressively worse for around 4 months after initially starting with starbursting, flashes of light and seeing grainy vision around Jan this year. I have not heard any news from this scan, I'm due a neuro app on 20th december, surely they would contact fast if anything shown up? Ive had 2 clear ct scans and eye specialists find nothing wrong. I have also developed a tremor/shaking which is seemingly of my whole body along with increased twitching, is it normal for anyone to slight tremor or is that an anxiety based symptom? It hasnt stopped in 2 days.

Twitching and shaking is a classic symptom of anxiety. I have been twitching for a month now since my health anxiety and overall stress increased dramatically. After 3 weeks, i am confident youre in the clear.

Cheers!

I have the same, I am in this state of nervous breakdown since July and still going through it, was improving until the doc phoned me and said he wanted more tests two days ago and now all the panic is back and I am terrified of it. It is really all in our minds and it is in mine, its pure FEAR! I just wish we could all control it

If it helps a relative of mind just had an MRI following weeks of headaches and was called back later that day to say she had to attend neurology the following Morning. They'd discovered a swelling on MRI- she was seen the next morning and treated so no they would not wait if anything that needed treatment was found. It was not cancer by the way but a treatable condition xx

Based on personal experience, you wouldn't be waiting 3 weeks if something sinister was going on.
