I just kind of pinned all this down to anxiety by now, but the more I read about hiatal hernia, the more I think this might actually be my problem.
I'm aware I'm horrible at self diagnosis, but the doctor I've seen never really ruled this out as a possibility. I only got blood work done. I never brought up how I've been getting heartburn more than usual as well (but it's not really that much of a bother, but I've read that sometimes hital hernia might not even cause heartburn at all).
Here are my symptoms:
>Feeling a tight sensation in the middle of my chest, just above my rib cage before I fall asleep. It also feels like I can't breathe.
>I also had a "tight band" sensation for two days before this happened right belong my chest, and above my waist. Almost like a feeling that your bra is too tight (even when I wasn't wearing one).
>No appetite
>Weird feelings like twitching or spasms in between my rib cage.
>Weird feelings in stomach. Almost like a baby kicking.
>Dull pain in shoulders and sometimes back/shoulder blades.
I did get a sleep study done, which I'll probably get the results from in another week or two. I'm not sure if this will show up in that.
