I've been having headaches for over 2 months, almost every day. I do notice a few things that seem to have an impact on my headache and wonder if other people have the same. Things i notice about my headaches:

- Usually starts in the middle of the day and is the worst at evening time
- Gets worse when i'm on my laptop
- Pain gets much less intense after a hot shower
- Pain also gets less when laying in a dark room with my eyes closed
- They feel like migraine headache sometimes, and sometimes worse on the left side, sometimes worse on the right side
- They're copeable but really annoying
- Painkillers help a lot but i don't want to take them too often

What can this be?? Im really scared it might be a brain tumor..

Have you had your eyes tested?

Sounds like a mixture of eye strain, tension headaches and possibly migraines as well. Certainly sounds nothing like the type of headaches a brain tumour would cause.

There are hundreds of benign things that can cause even quite severe headaches. You'd need a lot more dramatic symptoms before you even have to entertain anything as rare or dangerous as a brain tumour.

Headaches from a brain tumour are usually incredibly painful. Not something you could "cope" with.

Exactly what I thought.

No cause for alarm Panda.

Headaches can be caused by really minor things. I had a terrible one yesterday afternoon.

There was a time where I used to get them all the time and never got worried about it. But given that I have been extremely anxious about mu health the last month, I panicked a bit.

Then I took a deep breath and realized that it was nearing 6 p.m. and I had drunk very little water over the course of the day. I drank a cup of water and then downedva bottle of water and gradually the pain disappeared during the evening. One reason why I don't get them so often is that I make sure I drink a lot of water.

Yours might be caused by something similarly benign/minor. I think that if you had a brain tumor, you wouldn't only get the headache during certain situations as the ones you mentioned.

I hope so. Trying to avoid things that may cause the headaches

I was concerned as the headaches are so often. But i'm more confident now that it's not caused by something very serious:scared15:

Dehydration

You mentioned that you get them during the day and they get worse as the day progresses. While I'm far from a medical professional, I would imagine this could mean that the reason behind the headaches is something that happens during the day such as dehydration as suggested by Phuzella or staring into a screen too much.

I understand it's scarier with anxiety but headaches are extremely common. My brother has been getting them pretty often all his life and there's nothing wrong with him. Last year he also got a lot of dizziness for an extended period of time. Finally went to see his GP and got a referral to specialist. He never even went to see them because the dizzy spells stopped.

When he had them he used to (half jokingly) say he likely had a brain tumor. But a year later he is still alive and well. Although I can't say it with a 100% certainty, I really don't think he has a brain tumor. What I can say is that he is kinda a workaholic who puts himself under a lot of stress/pressure which I think can cause the symptoms he had.

If it's any help I've had headaches on and off all my life, which have been worse in the last 10 years or so, and have often included some absolute doozies. If it was anything to worry about I'd know by now.

Don't really know what to do about these headaches i'm almost getting used to having them. Only time i don't have a headache is in the morning after waking up. it's interupting my life and i'm still a little worried about them. Luckily taking painkillers makes the headache go away for a few hours.

I bought some tiger balm for my neck which seems to relieve the headache, but then 30mins later the headache comes back???
