So scared of concussion after hitting head on the wall

Hi guys,

I was laying in bed when put my head back and I bumped it against the wall on the top right area. It kind of scared me and has been slightly stinging for about two minutes now. I'm so worried about concussions and hearing about people dying in their sleep because of it.

The hit wasn't even that hard but hard enough to scare me :(

Thanks for the response. The stinging has stopped but I can physically feel the anxiety coming. Bleh, so tired of it.

So just an update. I don't really have a headache or anything but I was sitting around and I got a quick sharp pain right in the spot where I banged my head.

Ugh worry, worry, worry.

If its any consolation, I have hit my head sharply 3 times in the past week or two.

Today I have a headache and feel like I might have actually done some damage.

This is how I am rationalising it:
You didnt lose consiousness.
There was no major bleeding.
You are tired.
You need new glasses.
You are probably on the verge of coming down with a cold.
You could do with a glass of wine and a quiet evening.


I'm holding it together. :) Kinda.
