Hi,
I just had my colscopy appointment following an abnormal smear. I have been petrified she would say 'oh yes this is bad you may have c'. She didn't, she was very lovely and said she could see the abnormal area, that it was very small and that the changes look mild. She said she was sending a biopsy just to clarify what she thinks. She said my cervix looks fine but they just send biopsies to make certain.
Should I feel relaxed? I had the same last year, mild changes and wasn't offered treatment at the appointment. When the results came it confirmed mild changes and to go back in a year. I just hate waiting for results and get all sorts of things into my head.
Has anyone got any advice/stories?
