Family on holiday, home alone, can anyone relate to how bad I feel?

It's only 6 days but it's so lonely and I fear dying whilst they are away.
I know it sounds silly but has this ever happened to anyone else?

Being alone does take a bit of getting used to. Are you stuck in the house all day ? If you are, make an effort every day to go out, even if it is just to the corner shop for a paper. Or go out for a night with your mates. When you are on your own, you have to make the effort to socialise outside your house. And before you know it, the family will be home ......
