If leaving is for your health, you know I would always agree, but if not, you know where I am to talk. I too have had times I've considered leaving but I've always considered how the good outweighs the bad around here. :winks:

I think you're supposed to post it in the Contacting NMP sub forum. I've never seen anyone post it here.
Either way, I can't believe you're going Carnation! You've been here so long and are such an active poster. You will definitely be missed!

Trouble is, if this keeps happening, there won't be many of the original members left!
I never really recovered after that and I don't thank the people that contributed to make me that way. It make me anxious thinking about it now.

It's sad to see you go hun, I pop back on here every couple of days to see how people are, I'm not as vocal as I used to be and I've learnt the hard way about the importance of self care.
Whatever your reasons I wish you the best of luck in your journey. It's sad to think that the old crew may not be here, but I hope your decision takes you forward, if not I'm sure you'll be welcomed back with open arms.

It's very sad to see you go, Carnation. I understand how you feel though. You are right about this, those of us who have been here for a while now have seen it and experienced it, and who can forget the events not long ago that caused people on both sides of an argument to leave? I've had about 4 occasions where I've considered leaving and only stayed because of people on you and you were always one of them.
You know how I feel on these subjects. I've found this place ebbs & flows between groups at times. Thankfully it's always smaller groups and the rest of the forum chugs along like nothing is going on, which has been one of my reasons for pushing the negativity out of my head that I have seen both on the forum and on PM. I always think it is sad that someone feels they have to leave because of this but if something is more negative than positive, it's perhaps best to dump it and move something that makes you happier.

As the 24 hours is looming thought I'd say one last Goodbye Carnation.
I understand the wanting to delete the account as keeping it open for potential future use may make it tempting for you to come on when you don't feel ready.
There's always the possibility of opening a new account if need be. Hope things get easier for you and you get whatever ailment you discovered at the osteopath (I think that's where you said, sorry if I've gotten it wrong) sorted.

I struggle to keep up with everything going on, and where people are at.
While I havent been here long, I will always remember the kind and well thought out responses you provided. I've even saved some that really brightened my day.

Absolutely! Do what's best.
I nearly left when it was all kicking off the other year but it was because of a few people that I stayed, and friendships grew, and also what I said about how most people are just going about their day on here blissfully unaware of the dramas. New people come along too and it shakes things up and new friends are made as well.
If it wasn't for this, I doubt I would have stuck around. I probably would have shot off to another forum with the others. My few good friends on here were the anchor to stay more than anything.
Who knows what the future holds with some of my close friends heading off? I still have some friends left. But I still have some good people I talk to on the threads too and I'm thankful for them as well.
