View Full Version : Worried I may have Sleep Apnea

Hi all,
For the past week or so I've been waking up multiple times during the night, drifting in and out of sleep. Needless to say but this leaves me kind of tired during the day. Now all of a sudden I've got the fear that I've developed sleep apnea! Can anyone relate? Thanks

If you do sleep apnea is very common and easily treatable. However it sounds more like you have insomnia. Insomnia can come and go and worrying about it makes it worse! I have some nights I'm up every 2 hours!

That can only be determined through a sleep study. I can attest personally (since my wife has been ill) that I've slept poorly due to the stress. It doesn't mean you have sleep apnea.

The thought of wearing a mask at night alone makes my anxiety go mad!
