Skin cancer scare

Can somebody please she's some light!
I found a black freckle on the arm 2 days ago and today before calling my GP I gave it another self examination,I rubbed my nail over it and the black has came away and there is a new small brown freckle there,should I be worried?

Please I'm going out mind thinking I have melanoma!!!

Sounds like you had a scab that happen to be over a freckle and the scab came off.

It looked like the scab was underneath the skin I'm so confused and full of worry today

This happened to me 11.5 years ago when I was on holiday. I never thought anything of it to be honest. It's still on my arm now but has never had the black scab thing over it since.

Thanks for replying to me.All that is there now is a small brown freckle on terrified I have melanoma sticking round in my body I'm going from one extreme to another
