Is a swollen lymphnode in neck obvious?

Yesterday I was feeling my neck (I know I shouldn't have been :() but I can't tell if one side has a swollen lymph node or if it's just normal anatomy. I can feel a similar sort of thing on the other side but my right side seems to be a little easier to find (although that may be because I'm right handed).

I don't know if this is muscle, bone or a lymphnode. However I can't feel any detectable bumps.

it's very common for lymph nodes to be more. (findable)
on one side.
if you just take a look through other threads you'll see that a lot of people
worry about this exact thing. the first thing I did when I read your post was check mine,
and hey presto! I can only find the one on my left side.
obviously if you're really worried or it's visibly growing ,you'd be better speaking with you're gp a bout it

just to add, probably best no to prod and poke too much as you can inflame it and maybe cause some soreness
