Hiv fears are back, despite negative tests

So I went to the hospital for another reason very close to 6 months after the possible exposure and they offered me a blood test for Hiv. The next day they told me the results were negative. However my throat has been a little sore for the past week with no other symptoms, and I can't help but have thoughts that I could be a late seroconverter, or that they mixed up my results with someone else's. I know this is likely all in my head, but still. ..

Exactly. The problem isn't the HIV. Its the thought process. So make that your focus rather than trying to continually trying to prove/disprove HIV.
