View Full Version : blip or replapse
That's a good question. IMO, I think of a blip that's a very short lived event and a relapse as a more serious and longer lasting event.

This will likely be the eye of the beholder in some respect unless they are backed in medical terminology.
I've always regarded a blip as a bump in the road whereas a relapse is a full and complete backslide into the worst of it. A blip is short term and may just go, a relapse would be as crushing as when you have a breakdown that started it all off in the first place hence would be about the long slog uphill.
My GP saw a relapse in those terms when I crashed back down.
Thanks folks, i hope its just a blip as things have been really good the last few months
